Terms and Conditions of Use

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Tickadum website (www.tickadum.com) and any services offered through it (“Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About Tickadum

Tickadum is a premium sports-experience ticketing platform that curates and sells tickets and hospitality packages to major international sporting events, including cricket, football, Formula 1, tennis, and other live-sports experiences. Tickadum is operated by its founders and is headquartered in India.

Tickadum acts as an intermediary between event organisers, authorised ticket suppliers, and customers. In certain cases, inventory is sourced through authorised API partners who hold exclusive rights to specific events.

2. Eligibility

By using the Platform you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
  • You are not barred from purchasing or receiving services under applicable laws;
  • The information you provide during registration or checkout is accurate and up-to-date; and
  • You are purchasing tickets for personal use, and not for unauthorised resale or commercial gain.

3. User Account

  1. 3.1 Registration.Certain features of the Platform require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@tickadum.com if you suspect any unauthorised use.
  2. 3.2 Account Accuracy.You agree to provide truthful, complete, and current information and to update it as required. Tickadum reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information.

4. Bookings and Orders

  1. 4.1 How a Booking is Made.When you place an order on the Platform, you are making an offer to purchase the selected ticket(s) or package(s) at the stated price. Your order is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from Tickadum via e-mail.
  2. 4.2 Accuracy of Event Information.Tickadum takes reasonable care to ensure that event details (dates, venues, seating categories) displayed on the Platform are accurate. However, event information is subject to change by organisers without prior notice. Tickadum shall not be liable for inaccuracies originating from official event organisers.
  3. 4.3 Inventory Availability.All bookings are subject to availability. Displaying an item on the Platform does not guarantee its continued availability at the time of purchase. In the event that a confirmed booking cannot be fulfilled, Tickadum will offer a full refund or a comparable alternative.
  4. 4.4 Third-Party Suppliers.Portions of Tickadum's inventory are sourced through authorised third-party API partners. Their terms of supply may apply in addition to these Terms. Details of the applicable supplier will be made available upon request.

5. Pricing and Payments

  1. 5.1 Prices.All prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise. Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) or the currency displayed at checkout. Tickadum reserves the right to amend prices at any time without prior notice, but price changes will not affect confirmed orders.
  2. 5.2 Service Fees.A service or convenience fee may be charged in addition to the face value of a ticket. This fee covers platform costs, procurement, and customer support. The total amount payable (including all fees) will be displayed before you confirm your purchase.
  3. 5.3 Payment Methods.Tickadum accepts payments via credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways. Tickadum does not store your card details.
  4. 5.4 Failed Transactions.If a payment fails after funds have been deducted from your account, please contact your bank and our support team. Tickadum will investigate and, where funds have been received, issue a refund within 7–10 working days.

6. Cancellations, Refunds, and Transfers

  1. 6.1 Cancellation by Customer.All sales are generally final. Cancellations and refunds are governed by the specific event's refund policy, which will be communicated at the time of purchase. Where a refund is permissible, a cancellation fee may be deducted.
  2. 6.2 Cancellation by Tickadum or Organiser.If an event is cancelled or significantly rescheduled by the organiser, Tickadum will notify you and offer either a full refund of the amount paid to Tickadum (excluding non-refundable third-party fees, if any), or a credit note valid for 12 months for future bookings on the Platform. Tickadum's liability in this scenario is limited to the amount paid to Tickadum. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other consequential expenses you may have incurred.
  3. 6.3 No Transfer of Tickets.Tickets purchased through Tickadum are non-transferable unless Tickadum provides express written approval. Unauthorised transfer or resale of tickets may result in cancellation of the ticket and denial of entry by the organiser.
  4. 6.4 Refund Processing.Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7–14 working days, subject to your bank's processing timelines.

7. Ticket Delivery and Entry

Tickets will be delivered electronically to your registered e-mail address or made available in your Tickadum account. It is your responsibility to:

  • Download and safeguard your tickets;
  • Arrive at the venue within the time stipulated by the organiser;
  • Comply with all venue rules, health and safety requirements, and applicable laws;
  • Carry a valid government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the booking (where required); and
  • Retain your ticket throughout the event, as duplicate tickets may not be issued.

Tickadum is not responsible for tickets that are lost, stolen, damaged, or rendered invalid due to misuse, screening failure, or venue policy.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Purchase tickets for unauthorised resale at a price exceeding face value;
  • Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to access or acquire tickets;
  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
  • Engage in any conduct that disrupts or harms the Platform or other users;
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Platform;
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation; or
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of Tickadum or any third party.

Tickadum reserves the right to cancel orders, suspend accounts, and pursue legal remedies against users who engage in prohibited conduct.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to the Tickadum brand, logo, website design, text, graphics, images, and software, is the exclusive property of Tickadum or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without Tickadum's prior written consent.

Any third-party trademarks, tournament names, team names, or event identifiers referenced on the Platform belong to their respective owners. Their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by Tickadum.

10. The Sleeping Giant — Sports Magazine

The Platform hosts “The Sleeping Giant,” an editorial sports magazine featuring articles, analysis, and commentary on international sport. The content published within The Sleeping Giant is for informational and entertainment purposes only.

Editorial opinions expressed are those of the respective authors and do not constitute professional or legal advice. Tickadum does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of editorial content and accepts no liability for reliance on such content.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  1. 11.1 “As Is” Basis.The Platform and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  2. 11.2 No Guarantee of Availability.Tickadum does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Tickadum reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform at any time without notice.
  3. 11.3 Limitation of Liability.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tickadum, its directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. In no event shall Tickadum's aggregate liability to you exceed the total amount you paid to Tickadum for the booking giving rise to the claim, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tickadum, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Your infringement of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights; or
  • Any content or information you submit to the Platform.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

Tickadum collects, stores, and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at www.tickadum.com/privacy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Tickadum complies with applicable data protection legislation, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India). You may exercise your rights (access, correction, deletion) by contacting us at contact@tickadum.com.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. Tickadum does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services. Accessing any third-party link is at your own risk.

15. Force Majeure

Tickadum shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic, government action, war, civil unrest, strikes, technical failures, or actions of third-party event organisers.

16. Modifications to These Terms

Tickadum reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where changes are material, Tickadum will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice (for example, via e-mail or a notice on the Platform). Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  1. 17.1 Governing Law.These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
  2. 17.2 Dispute Resolution.In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India). The seat of arbitration shall be Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  3. 17.3 Jurisdiction.For matters not subject to arbitration, the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tickadum with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications on the subject matter.
